What are Story Beads?
Your child’s beads are their visual story. Each bead represents an important milestone in their experience with cancer and treatment. They help kids and their families remember their experiences and share it with others.
The beads are a tangible way to record your child’s progression through treatment. It tells his story. It is a reminder of all he, and we as a family, have been through. The kids like the beads despite their inference; they are colourful, the kids can be involved in the making up of the chain, and they help us all remember how far we have come.
