Our door-to-door fundraisers

Our fundraisers currently only conduct door-knocks to discuss Redkite’s valuable work with people and encourage them to become regular donors. Fundraisers work within the hours set out by state legislation, throughout the day and early evening. It is one of the most efficient forms of fundraising. Charities will usually receive $3 or more in donations for every $1 they invest in door-to-door fundraising.

Regular Giving fundraising

Regular Giving fundraising is one of the most cost-effective and efficient ways of recruiting new supporters for Redkite. Specialist agencies conduct the majority of our face-to-face fundraising. Using these agencies means we keep costs down and Redkite is represented in a professional manner.

How to recognise a legitimate fundraiser

Our fundraisers wear Redkite-branded clothing with our logo on the front and back. Their ID badges state they are paid and carry the name of the specialist agency on them. They do not accept cash, instead asking for monthly donations by direct debit or credit card.

Regular Giving facts

Regular Giving is where people make a monthly donation either by credit card or direct debit via their bank account. Regular gifts provide a reliable source of income and ensure an ongoing income stream from year to year. It allows Redkite to budget and plan effectively so we can continue to be there to deliver vital services to children and young people with cancer and their families.
