Volunteer with Redkite

This is your chance to make a difference for families facing cancer. You could join us in one of our four regional offices, contribute to a fundraising event or directly help families facing cancer in hospital.

Volunteering for Redkite is both fun and rewarding. You'll meet new and interesting people and feel great knowing that you’re helping to improve the lives of children and young people with cancer.

You can learn more about what our volunteers do and what it means to them by reading their stories: JoshuaBrendaCheryl, WesSantiagoFarah, Emelie and Theodore.

The Redkite Family Wellbeing Program provides practical and emotional support to families on the ward at the Children's Hospital at Westmead. Some volunteers share specific professional or linguistic skills, others work with families of all backgrounds to provide recreational activities for children and their parents when they visit the clinic or are inpatients on the ward.

We have a range of opportunities to volunteer on this program, all of which take place on weekdays and require a regular commitment.

There are no positions available at the moment. Check back again soon!
