How can I access Financial Assistance for Funerals?

We can contribute up to $1,500 towards the costs of your child’s funeral, depending on the needs of your family. To make it as simple as possible to organise, all you need to do is let us know the name of the funeral director and we’ll arrange payment.

The loss of a child is catastrophic. The financial strain on a family whose child has cancer can be catastrophic. When you are trying to comprehend the loss of your child to cancer, the task of organising a funeral is too much to bear, but it is something that must be done. We wanted to give Nat a beautiful goodbye, but the costs of a funeral are high and we had exhausted all of our savings. Redkite provided financial assistance to help cover the cost of Nat’s funeral. This enabled us to give her a very beautiful goodbye and celebrate her life.

We can’t know everything you’re going through, but we can give you a place where you can express your grief without judgement. We are here for you and will continue to be for as long as you need.
