Redkite counselling services are available to help when you need to talk. Different to the support of friends and family, which is also important, but Redkite talk with families going through cancer treatment every day.
For some people, picking up the phone to talk to someone can feel impossible. But when you call 1800 REDKITE, we will connect you to our community oncology support team. They understand what you’re going through is tough… really tough. Our team have the experience to support you in the way that works best for you, and they genuinely care. We can connect you to the same person each time if that’s what you want and if they’re available. You can also set up a time directly with your Social Worker.

If COVID restrictions allow, our community team can meet with you face to face in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth. If you’re not in those cities, we can still see each other over video call.
Some people feel more comfortable talking with our team in a language other than English. When you call us, tell us you want an interpreter and the language. Then we will organise an interpreter to join the call.
