Connect groups – sessions facilitated by Redkite Social Workers
Coffee catch ups – a more casual conversation
In our Connect Groups, you can speak to other people who are in a similar situation. Each group has a theme or topic. Around six to eight people come together on a video call to talk about their experiences and to share tips for challenges they’re facing. Some people who come along prefer to turn off their camera and mic, and just listen, which is okay too.
Our Coffee Catch-ups are less structured groups for parents who have a child on treatment or recently off treatment to meet and connect.
Two Redkite Social Workers are present to host the groups.
After you register, one of our Social Workers hosting the group will give you a call to check in and see if you need any other information. They will then email you a reminder of the details of the group and a link so you can join on the day.
You’ll need a computer with a microphone and reliable internet. It’s best if you can find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted too much.
