myRedkite User Guide for Health Professionals
The myRedkite portal allows families to access the services they need, whenever they need them.
Updates to myRedkite – 16 December 2022
myRedkite was originally designed to allow families to apply for and manage the funds they could receive from our Financial Assistance (FA) Program. While our FA process and criteria remain the same, we have now added additional services to the portal to offer further support to families – Group Support, Dare to Dream Scholarships and Bereavement Support. Further information on each service is included in this guide.
The inclusion of these additional services means more than one user per family can now access myRedkite (note, FA is still provided per diagnosed young person, not per family member and so it will be one set of funding regardless of how many accounts are used across the family).
As a family’s nominated HBHP, if they give permission for you to access their accounts you will be able to access any accounts linked to that family, and any services available to those users. This permission can be given (or removed) on the My Profile page.
Section 1: myRedkite Sign-Up and Client Management
To access the myRedkite portal go to https://my.redkite.org.au and enter your username and password. Your username will be your email address.
Section 2: Financial Assistance Program
myRedkite allows you to:
- Apply for Financial Assistance online on behalf of a family.
- Easily view the amount of financial assistance a family has accessed, how much is left and how long it is available for.
- Upload a bill and view previously uploaded bills.
- Request a Coles Grocery Voucher or Coles Express Fuel Voucher.
- Request further assistance for a family.
The only change for users is that their funding is no longer visible on the main dashboard. After logging in, they will need to click the Financial Assistance tile to view their funding.
For more information on Redkite’s Financial Assistance Program, including eligibility, how much financial assistance we can offer, and what we can pay for, please visit the Financial Assistance Program page.
