Jonathan Dooley joins the Redkite Board

Redkite is delighted to welcome Jon Dooley to its Board.

Long-time supporter, Jonathan Dooley has joined Redkite’s Board of Directors.

Jon has been actively involved with Redkite for over 10 years, as a member and President of our Queensland Regional Council and a valued member of our Risk and Audit Committee. With his appointment to the Redkite Board, Jon has also taken on the role of Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee.

Jon brings over 30 years of accounting experience and is considered an expert and pioneer in his field of forensic accounting. He founded Vincents, a financial and economic advisory firm, in 1991 and is currently their Executive Chair. Jon’s extensive experience in financial analysis, risk and compliance, and investigative skills have allowed him to work on a diverse range of matters including commercial disputes, risk and regulatory compliance, insurance claims/litigation and corporate advisory. To this end, he is regularly called upon to provide expert witness testimony in the District and Supreme Courts of Queensland, the Supreme Court of NSW and the Federal Court of Australia. Jon is also Chair of QInsure Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian Retirement Trust, and a Director of Queensland Cricket.

Jon is passionate about the work of Redkite, and committed to working with Redkite’s board and team to increase support and impact for families facing childhood cancer in Australia.

“A significant number of Australian families, who have children with cancer, aren’t getting the practical, emotional and mental support they need. Redkite is committed to finding better ways to meet these needs.”

“I’m honoured to be continuing my commitment to these families by joining the Redkite Board. It presents an opportunity for me to contribute even further to this wonderful organisation and cause. Every child diagnosed in Australia and their extended family deserves Redkite’s support irrespective of where they live, their socio-economic status or their cultural background,” Jon said.

Redkite CEO Monique Keighery said “Jon’s deep and diverse financial expertise, alongside his genuine passion for our work, will be of great value to Redkite. Redkite is embarking on an ambitious path to invest in expanded services that better reach and support these families in need. Jon’s pioneering spirit will be invaluable in ensuring Redkite delivers the greatest impact in mitigating the long-term impacts of childhood cancer for thousands of families across the country.”
