Devine wins inaugural Workplace Giving Award

The effectiveness of workplace giving programs has been in the spotlight recently, with recent research from The Australian Charities Fund (ACF) and the Centre for Social Impact revealing that workplace giving promotes employee engagement and motivation.

And now ACF has formally recognised the achievements of one company in particular – one of Redkite’s supporting partners Devine – by awarding the property developer its inaugural Workplace Giving Month 2013 Engagement Award.

Devine has recently seen a significant rise in its workplace giving program– rising from 24 per cent to a 39 per cent staff participation rate – an amazing 62% increase.

Devine General Manager, Corporate Services Jacque Courtney-Pitman said Devine is committed to ensuring it operates in a sustainable, ethical and safe manner, as well as focusing on the well-being of all stakeholders.

“Our workplace giving and community engagement program is a great opportunity for our people to contribute to the community through financial giving, volunteering and sharing our expertise,” she said.

Redkite’s award winning workplace giving program actively works to create connected partnerships with companies who share our commitment to providing essential support to families facing the cancer journey.

"What an incredible achievement from Devine's team members", said Monique Keighery, General Manager Partnerships and Marketing at national cancer charity Redkite, one of the Devine program's nominated charities.

"It is wonderful to see the important social impact companies can have when their team comes together. Donations from Devine have already provided support to 16 families on the cancer journey over the past 12 months alone".
