Online Coffee Catch Ups: Fortnightly groups for families of children with cancer
This regular catch up is a relaxed and open forum where you can meet up with others via Zoom and talk about the unique challenges of childhood cancer.
Families often tell us that facing childhood cancer can be an isolating experience. These coffee catch ups are an opportunity to connect regularly with a supportive network of people in a similar situation.
Each session is facilitated by two Redkite social workers, who will start off the conversation with a topic chosen by the group. This begins a casual conversation where participants have the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences. If you’d prefer to join and just listen, that’s ok too.
This group is for you if:
You are an adult connected to a child 0-18 years old who has a cancer diagnosis
Diagnosed child is on treatment or has finished treatment in the last 12 months
You want to meet and talk with other adults in a similar situation
New attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend.
