Brain Tumour Alliance Australia

BTAA provides information resources and peer support to patients and their families through their support line.

Camp Quality

Camp Quality provides family experiences, camps, school education programs, as well as Child Life Therapy in hospital.

Cancer Australia Children’s Cancer

A website with information on children’s cancers as well as guidance and advice for children, parents, grandparents, relatives, friends and the community on living with children’s cancer.

Cancer Council

Cancer Council is the peak national organisation aimed at reducing the incidence and effects of cancer. The state and territory Cancer Councils provide information and support for people affected by cancer, and undertake and fund cancer research.

CanTeen

CanTeen provide support to 12-25 year olds affected by cancer with counselling, peer support, and camps.

Childhood Cancer Support

Childhood Cancer Support provide accommodation and transport services for families receiving treatment in Brisbane. They also run family support events and provide support through a Family Social Worker.

Children’s Cancer Foundation

The Children’s Cancer Foundation will cover the Medicare gap for patients, siblings and parents who see a mental health professional under a Mental Health Care Plan, as well as funding clinical research and hospital positions in Victoria.

Leukaemia Foundation

Leukaemia Foundation support to patients and their families with blood cancers and other blood disorders, like aplastic anaemia. They provide accommodation, transport, emotional support, information, support groups and support with grief.

Livewire is a free online community powered by Starlight, which connects teens living with illness or disability & their siblings, in Australia or New Zealand.

Neuroblastoma Australia provides digital information resources, run family events and fund research.

Ronald McDonald House Charities has a wide range of programs to help seriously ill children and their families including accommodation and education support

Starlight Children’s Foundation

Starlight Children’s Charity provide Starlight Express rooms in hospitals and wishes to seriously ill children.

Youth Cancer Services

The Youth Cancer Services are based in major hospitals around Australia. They receives federal funding through Canteen to provide specialised treatment and support for young people aged 15-25 with cancer
