Redkite's education support grants can help children and young people who have experienced cancer reach their study and work goals. Siblings whose education is disrupted because of the cancer journey may also be eligible to receive Redkite's education assistance.

How education support grants can be used

Redkite's education and career assistance is provided via financial grants. These grants can be applied to a variety of areas including:
  • tutoring or coaching
  • courses
  • classroom support
  • the pursuit of an interest area such as music, art or dance
  • developmental therapy which isn't available through your hospital
  • materials for education or work such as books, laptops and hard hats
For more information on education support grants and career assistance, speak with your social worker or contact Redkite on 1800 REDKITE (1800 733 548) or support@redkite.org.au.

What happened to Redkite Dare to Dream Scholarships?

Redkite's education assistance program was restructured in 2012. Dare to Dream Scholarships have been replaced with education grants so that more teenagers and young adults will have access to education support.

If you are a teenager or young adult aged 24 or under and you have experienced cancer, we encourage you to contact Redkite to learn more about the education and career assistance available. You can reach Redkite on 1800 REDKITE (1800 733 548) or support@redkite.org.au.
