Fundraising idea: Show us your pets!

We know working from home means you are accompanied by trusty “new colleagues”, they’re great friends for kids with cancer as well, so here is a way to get them involved in your next team engagement activity for Redkite. By adding in a small entry fee to participate you will be helping to raise vital funds for kids with cancer.

A guide on setting up your pet talent competition!

Set a date and promote it to the wider team working remotely

Decide on your pet or talent categories!

Some ideas… cats/birds/dogs only, fetching skills, roll over, spin, best dressed, handshakes

Dust off those pet props and costumes.

You could even schedule in a wash or groom beforehand to receive extra points for presentation

Start a live chat conversion.

Here you can ask Redkite Fundraisers to help and set up a donation portal, where your team members can donate $5 to enter.

Log into your company video conferencing and vote on who’s pet does the best tricks.

You can nominate judges and have them score each pet on a scale of 1 – 5, this role is great for team members who don’t have pets!

Ask team members to take a screenshot of the virtual competition and post it on the company’s intranet or social media

Use the hashtag #PetsGotTalent.

Offer fun-pet themed prizes for the pets with the best tricks!

Don’t forget to share with us your winning competitor!

Happy competing to all pets and pet owners involved!

Managing big feelings when going back to school

It’s that time of year again, dusting off the school uniforms, shopping for school supplies, thinking about creative lunch box and snack ideas as we forge ahead into a new school year.
