Delivering better cancer support, one sandwich at a time.
This free recipe book is packed with lunchbox sandwich inspiration for throughout the school year. But above all, every sandwich in this recipe book tells a story… stories of courage, hope and love.
What do a cancer support charity and a recipe book have in common?
The connection between cancer and a sandwich isn’t immediately obvious, but for the last nine years, five cents from the sale of every loaf of specially marked Coles Own Brand bread has been donated to Redkite. This initiative has raised millions of dollars to support children with cancer and their families.
This second edition of For the love of bread celebrates the resilience of families whose lives have been impacted by childhood cancer with 23 feel-good sandwiches from families who have received Redkite’s support, as well as recipes from some famous faces.
