Conor and Sally: ‘When it comes to grief, there is no normal.’
“I want my little boy back. I want to change what happened, but I do have to thank him for the lessons he taught me.”
Sally had to learn to live again after she lost her little boy Conor to liver cancer. As a newly bereaved parent, she desperately wanted to know if what she was feeling was normal and OK.
For Sally, when it comes to dealing with grief, there is no normal. Everyone will have different feelings, different needs, and will use different strategies to deal with grief.
