Camp Quality and Redkite parents groups evaluation

In 2011, Camp Quality commissioned research into the unmet psychosocial needs of children (0-13) with cancer and their families.
From the initial findings, Redkite and Camp Quality piloted free groups for parents, facilitated by Redkite Social Workers and hosted at a Camp Quality Family Camp.
Results from the pilot’s evaluation demonstrated the groups provided a safe, professionally facilitated environment in which parents felt comfortable sharing their experiences with other.
