Spreading the cheer further this Christmas, MPA doubles donations for the Redkite Christmas Appeal.

Starting from the 7th of December, Redkite Partners MPA will be matching up to $30,000 in donations for Redkite’s Annual Christmas Appeal. Redkite’s Christmas Appeal will raise critical funds to support families facing childhood cancer during the Festive Season. As a matched giving partner, MPA will maximise the impact of the appeal and make sure Redkite reaches as many families as possible this Christmas. MPA’s generous support means that every $1 donated during the match giving period will become $2, doubling the impact of Redkite supporters.

“Christmas is always an emotional and stressful time and New Year’s Eve is very hard also because the future is no longer known. You feel really vulnerable during this festive time when everyone is looking forward and planning and making resolutions.”

– Redkite Parent

Redkite CEO Monique Keighery said that the Festive Season can be particularly hard for families impacted by childhood cancer.

Childhood cancer obviously doesn’t stop for Christmas, and it can be a particularly tough time for families whether it’s a new diagnosis, unexpected hospitalisation, or the first Christmas without a much loved little one.

“Families need emotional, mental health & practical support to get through this period and the funds raised through our Christmas Appeal will ensure we can provide that support. We are grateful that our partners MPA have yet again stepped up as a matched giving partner.”

MPA Managing Director Ed Singleton said “We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Redkite, particularly at this time of year when they offer much needed support for families facing cancer. At MPA we are committed to making a positive contribution to our community, and with our long-standing relationship with Redkite we look forward to creating a lasting impact.”

MPA specialise in commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects of various scale and size. Director and Founder Ed Singleton is actively involved with Redkite and is a current member of the NSW Regional Council. MPA has supported Redkite since 2010 and has contributed over $500,000 through fundraising, personal giving and pro-bono work to support families facing childhood cancer. MPA’s support of Redkite’s Christmas appeal is yet another way they ensure that children and families get the support they need.

From the 7th to the 14th of December, up to $30,000 in donations received through Redkite’s Christmas Appeal will be doubled, making Christmas just a little merrier for families, all thanks to the generosity of MPA.
