Right now, there is a shortfall of $150,000 needed to help these families cover essential household expenses like food, electricity, and more.

Families Are Struggling

Our Senior Social Worker, Sam, has witnessed heartbreaking situations in the last 6 months:

• Parents skipping meals to ensure their children are fed.
• Parents selling their cars to pay bills, leaving them dependent on public transport to visit their sick child in hospital.
• Families going into debt just to keep their recovering child warm during winter.
• Siblings missing out on essentials such as school supplies and toiletries

Sam also shared a story about a parent who had to sleep in their car with their young children because they couldn’t afford a place to stay near the hospital where their sick child was being treated. Your donation can prevent this from happening to another family.
