Coles raise record amount for kids facing cancer at Christmas

This past Christmas, Coles customers and team members raised a recording-breaking $1.6 million for children and young people with cancer, and the families who support them.

For five weeks, Coles team members sold $2 Christmas donation cards at registers across Australia, enabling customers to show their support for families facing cancer at Christmas. Coles helped make Christmas even sweeter by selling special $1 gingerbread man, with 20 cents from every sale directed to Redkite.

Isobel Lindley, Redkite's Head of Fundraising, welcomed the support from Coles and recognised customers for continuing to demonstrate their commitment to families facing cancer.

“Once again, the generosity shown by Coles and its customers is truly inspiring. At a time of year when the pressure on families facing their child's cancer can be heightened, they've enabled Redkite to provide care and support when it's needed most,” she said.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Coles team members and customers across Australia. Your contribution ensures families going through tough times have access to essential financial, emotional and educational support when they need it most.
