Little Lou has Leukaemia
Tanya McAleer
In this gently told story, Little Lou the cockatoo has lost his cheerful chirp. Doctor Roo says it’s Leukaemia – but what will that mean for Little Lou? Join Little Lou and his family as they learn about the illness, hospital stays, and treatment, discovering along the way just how brave and resilient they can be.
Developed in collaboration with oncology paediatricians and social workers at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, and supported by the Kids Cancer Centre, this heartwarming tale aims to comfort children aged 3 to 5.
