Badger’s Parting gifts
Susan Varley

“Badger’s Parting Gifts” is about the wonderfully helpful and reliable Badger, who realises that he is getting to the age where he’ll soon pass away, so Badger leaves each of his friends with a parting gift to remember him by, and to help them through their loss.
The book is not specifically Cancer related, and Badger dies of old age, but it is a sweet and gentle way to explain the concept of death to a child, and to encourage them to remember the person they’ve lost through the memories they gave them.
