Kathy is making the gift of a lifetime!

When Kathy signed up for a quiz night in support of Redkite, she knew very little about the important work we do. Kathy’s gift will now help children and families, for many years to come.

When Kathy signed up for a quiz night in support of Redkite, she knew very little about the important work we do. That evening, she was deeply moved by stories from families facing childhood cancer and became a lifelong supporter.

It’s a horrendous thing for a child, and often their parents were going through financial hell too,” Kathy said.

When she hears families’ stories, Kathy says it’s often hard not to cry – but she also knows her support is
making a huge difference. She told us: “It’s a privilege to be able to help people who are going through such difficult times.”

Over the years, Kathy has attended more quiz nights and made regular donations. She wanted to find another way to help families facing childhood cancer, which is why she decided to include Redkite in her Will.

Kathy says the process was quick, easy – and one of the most rewarding decisions she’s ever made.

“It’s an amazing feeling knowing you’ve left a legacy and you’ll make a difference in people’s lives even after you’re gone.”

~ Kathy
