NSW Events Office Volunteer

Redkite is seeking an eager individual to assist our busy Sydney events team during our peak events season. Hours and days are flexible. This role includes:
  • General administrative support for events
  • Collation of material for events
  • Data entry for a variety of projects

Racehorse Ownders Association Awards Night Volunteers

Date: Thursday 12 August
Venue: Sydney Turf Club, Rosehill Racecourse
Time: Approx 5.45pm to have something to eat (dinner provided) and start at 6pm. Finish by 11.30pm at the latest.
Roles: Raffle ticket selling, hostessing, silent auction and data base management.
General:
Snacks and drinks provided, parking available. Need to be over 18 years of age

Blackmore Sydney Running Festival Volunteers

Date: Sunday 19th September
Venue: The Domain
Time: Start at 5.30am, finish at approximately 1pm.
Roles: Course Drink Station Hosts - Provide water and/or refreshments to all participant runners as they pass the station. Tidy assigned Water and Refreshment Station and surrounding area to pre-event state.
General: Lunch and drinks provided. T-shirt and Cap also provided to wear on the day. Need to be over 12 years of age

 Media intern / volunteer
Redkite’s internship is an exciting opportunity to learn real skills in a marketing and PR environment. This is a very hands-on and will include:

•    Researching and writing press releases
•    Arranging photo shoots and interviews
•    Generating publicity and contacting journalists
•    Updating media contacts

This internship is ideal for someone who has a passion for the media and for charity. We are looking for an intern who is not afraid to use their initiative, who is media savvy, who can work autonmously and who has a passion to get things done.
