$110,000 raised for Redkite at Corporate Quiz in Victoria

Companies from across Victoria battled it out at the Redkite Corporate Quiz to be crowned ‘Victoria’s Smartest Company’ and to raise vital funds for Redkite.

Hosted by celebrities Adam Spencer and Alan Brough, the Quiz was held on 7th August at the Sofitel Grand Ballroom in Melbourne and saw a fierce but friendly competition between many corporate companies. Construction Engineering won the hotly contested first place honour, with the ‘Smartest Company’ title still up for grabs in Brisbane (21 August), Perth (16 October) and Sydney (30 October).
 
The Redkite Corporate Quiz incorporates the fun of a quiz night with the opportunity for corporate companies to help support Redkite and families affected by childhood cancer. The Melbourne Corporate Quiz raised $110,000.

“Fortunately we answered enough questions correctly to see us through to an unexpected win,” enthused Simon Barker of Melbourne-based Construction Engineering. “It was a close race all night and we had some great competition from the likes of APP and SAP. We will be back next year for another go!”

Redkite Event Organiser Giovina Cicchitti was thrilled with the support saying, “The generosity shown by the quiz attendees on the night was amazing. Redkite receives no government funding and relies on the community’s generosity to provide essential cancer support services so we are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and made it such a fantastic night.”
