Telegroup for parents of children who have been treated for cancerThe telegroup for parents of children with cancer provides support in a safe and relaxed environment. Themes covered may include discussion around adjustment of family life after a child or young person’s cancer treatment, adjustment to a “new normal” life, impact of treatment on the child and siblings and managing ongoing fears and concerns. This telegroup will start in early April. Telegroup for bereaved parentsLosing a child or young person to cancer is one of the most devastating events that can happen to any parent and family. Telegroups enable parents to access a network of support that is not always easy - particularly if families are isolated from cancer specific support.
The upcoming telegroup for bereaved parents is designed for parents who lost a child or young person more than six months ago. This telegroup will start in July.
