SPLICE courses for young people

A creative learning program is now open to 15-25 year olds who have cancer or who are cancer survivors, as well as their families and partners.

The program titled 'SPLICE' includes short single day courses located in East Melbourne at the historical studio of Ola Cohn.


Visual Arts

Tuesdays 10 May to 7 June, 1:00pm – 3.30pm

Create a bag or beanie
Tuesday 14 June, 10:00am – 3.00pm

Creative Writing
Tuesdays 19 July to 16 August, 1.00pm – 3.30pm


Tuesdays 30 August to 27 September, 1.00pm – 3.30pm

Create a wall hanging
Tuesday 23 August, 10:00am – 3.00pm

Discover Melbourne’s laneways

Tuesday 18 October, 10.00am – 3.00pm

Redkite is proudly funding the course fees for each SPLICE enrolment. Participants will only be required to pay for course materials (approximately $5.00 - $10.00).

The SPLICE program has been created by the The Council for Adult Education (CAE) in partnership with onTrac@PeterMac and RCH Education Institute.  SPLICE aims to help participants succeed, participate, learn, imagine, create and empower.
