Redkite officially welcomed leading lawyer and Managing Partner of Freehills, Mark Rigotti, to its Board of Directors in April.Redkite supports children and young people with cancer and their families and is governed by a passionate, professional and committed Board of Directors who ensure the highest level of ethics, compliance and governance of Redkite. Mark Rigotti is the Managing Partner at Freehills (an Australian-based international law firm) and first joined Freehills in 1988. During his time at Freehills, Mark has completed time in the Corporate, Banking and Litigation groups, as well as undertaking an associateship in the Federal Court. During the mid 1990s Mark spent two and a half years in London where he worked in the firm’s then London office. Upon return to the Sydney office, Mark became a partner and in late 2003 he became head of the Banking group. In 2005 Mark become head of the national Corporate practice group, working his way up to become Managing Partner in 2008. Prior to his time at Freehills, Mark ran a leading corporate, capital markets and fundraising practice for 15 years spanning across Australia and the United Kingdom. Mark holds Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Masters of Laws degrees from the University of Sydney and a diploma from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is also a member of the Finance and Treasury Association. The Board of Directors at Redkite reflects the Redkite values, and Redkite is proud that Mark will contribute to the Board and work continuously to ensure honesty, full transparency and accountability at all times.
