Sydney’s business community is gearing up for the most sought after event on the corporate calendar – the annual Redkite Corporate Quiz. Six hundred of the city’s finest business minds will be put through their trivia paces by media personalities including Adam Spencer, Tony Squires and Kerry O’Brien. They’ll be competing for the title ‘Sydney’s Smartest Company’ at the popular fundraiser for cancer support charity, Redkite, on October 22 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Bob Every, Wesfarmers Chairman, Boral Limited Chairman and Redkite Director (pictured) will be attending on the night. Every says “I look forward to Redkite’s Corporate Quiz every year. It is an entertaining night that gives me the chance to network and take part in some friendly competition. Importantly, I know that I’m supporting Redkite’s vital work to help families through their child’s cancer.” Fiona Martin from Cox Richardson Architects who have won Sydney Corporate Quiz for two years running, describes the event as “a night of intellect, humour and great prizes.” The event is special for Martin because “it supports families facing the cancer journey to achieve both the ordinary and extraordinary with Redkite’s vision and support.” Redkite relies on the community’s generosity to provide essential cancer support services to children and young people with cancer, and their families, across Australia. Redkite’s services are available for families from the moment of diagnosis, throughout gruelling treatment periods and on the return home. These services include financial and educational assistance, support in hospitals through social workers and music therapists, and community based support including telephone and email counselling and facilitated telegroups. The Redkite Corporate Quiz is the largest fundraiser for the charity. The event has recently been held in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. --------END-------- |
