Redkite Book Club

Redkite book clubThe Redkite Book Club is available in every paediatric oncology unit and specific adolescent and young adult (AYA) treatment centres throughout Australia. Young people diagnosed with cancer, together with their families, can borrow books covering a range of themes faced during their cancer experience, including emotions, family communication, survivorship, grief, death and dying, and specific texts on leukaemia and solid tumour cancers.

Each year Redkite counsellors and social workers in paediatric and AYA oncology treatment centres in Australia review and update this collection of books with the most recent cancer related publications made available. Books are sourced from Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and United States of America.

Redkite is keen to receive feedback from families who may have borrowed books from the Redkite Book Club.  Email support@redkite.org.au to let us know which books you found most useful and why.
