Rhys Muldoon & corporate companies sing Playschool… and raise $240,000

Celebrities and Sydney’s top corporate companies made the Redkite Corporate Quiz a huge success, battling it out to be crowned the Smartest Corporate Company in Sydney and to raise vital funds for Redkite.

Held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Playschool presenter and Redkite supporter Rhys Muldoon led the room of 500 people in a chorus of Playschool as a warm up, with radio personalities Adam Spencer and Tony Squires entertaining the crowd as MCs.

Around $240,000 was raised for Redkite which will go towards providing real and practical support for families dealing with childhood cancer such as funding social workers in hospitals, paying for household bills and providing education assistance.

The competition was fierce but friendly with Cox Architects taking out first place for the second year running, Westpac taking second place, and Buildcorp in third place.

Jane Endacott, Redkite’s General Manager of Marketing and Fundraising and Corporate Quiz attendee, moved from corporate consulting with rogenSi International to join Redkite six months ago. Jane was thrilled with the support of the corporate community on the night saying, “Despite the current economic challenges, our loyal corporate supporters have shown incredible generosity and have rallied behind this important event to make a lasting impact on families coping with childhood cancer.”
