Redkite is proud to announce it will be the Official Charity of the 2011 IVECO Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.  The MotoGP will take place from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 October on Phillip Island. Redkite will be there to raise funds and awareness about the vital services it provides families.How you can get involved:Join us in Bairnsdale or on Phillip Island as a Redkite volunteer. This is an opportunity to experience the sensational MotoGP and at the same time support children and young people with cancer. We are seeking volunteers for a range of activities including collecting donations, selling raffle tickets and being on the Redkite GPExpo booth. You can volunteer for any day or all days over the weekend. Volunteers are also needed for Wednesday 12 October and Thursday 13 October. Contact Danielle Cotter, National Volunteer Manager at dcotter@redkite.org.au or call 02 9219 4021. Visit the Redkite stand at the GP Expo. Fun activities will be announced soon. Keep an eye out for Redkite volunteers selling raffle tickets. They'll be in bright red ponchos. For any children attending on Friday, be sure to colour in the Redkite picture which can be downloaded here. Hand it in at the GP Expo for your chance to win! The competition will be judged by former Motorcycle Grand Prix winner Daryl Beattie. |
