Les Hill supports ‘Reach 1000 Families’ appeal

This appeal is designed to ensure Redkite continues to provide families with essential financial assistance to help them through their child’s cancer journey. 

When a child is diagnosed with cancer many families experience a drop in household income. A child or young person’s cancer treatment can take family members out of work and even a long way from home. At the same time, expenses increase.

Mario and Silvana experienced this financial strain when their child Ricky was diagnosed with cancer. You can read their story here.

Redkite provides families like Mario and Silvana's with practical financial assistance. This includes helping with petrol costs to get a child to and from hospital for treatment and household bills such mortgage repayments and groceries.

Redkite receives no government funding. Support for this appeal will help Redkite to continue this vital service for families.
