About the Colour Ball – a stand up cocktail event


Twelve years ago, eight young professionals had one big idea with two clear goals: to create a fresh, vibrant and memorable event and to make a real difference to the lives of others. This year you can help hit the million dollar mark!

When: Saturday 9 July 2011, from 7pm until midnight

Dress: Cocktail attire with a touch of ruby red
Theme: The theme for this year's Colour Ball is 'Rapt in Ruby'

The Colour Ball is like no other charity event, offering young professionals aged 25-40 the opportunity to socialise at a sophisticated but fun stand up cocktail style event with fantastic food and beverages, live entertainment and celebrity MC whilst supporting a worthwhile cause.

This event is driven by a fantastic volunteer committee consisting of young professionals working together to assist children and young people with cancer.

The Colour Ball is an exciting event that is themed around colour to brighten up everyone’s lives. Previous themes have included; Green With Envy, Solid Gold, Red Hot, Electric Blue, Ultra Violet and this year’s exciting Rapt in Ruby!

Importantly, in the 12 years since its inception, the Colour Ball has raised an incredible $940,000 for the children, young people and families that Redkite supports.
