The 2010 Redkite Silver Lining Colour Ball was a huge success. We'd like to thank the event's generous sponsors and everyone who attended for making it a fun and glamorous night. The sold out 2010 Colour Ball raised $117,000. This is enough for Redkite to provide financial, emotional and educational support services to around 46 families for 12 months. Next year's theme will be Rapt in Ruby. Photos of the night can be accessed here. 


About the Colour Ball - a stand up cocktail event

Eleven years ago, eight young professionals had one big idea with two clear goals: to create a fresh, vibrant and memorable event and to make a real difference to the lives of others.

The Colour Ball is like no other charity event, offering young professionals aged 25-40 the opportunity to network and socialise at a sophisticated but fun stand up cocktail style event with fantastic food and beverages, live entertainment and celebrity MC whilst supporting a worthwhile cause.

This event is driven by a volunteer committee consisting of young professionals working together to assist children and young people with cancer. Head here to see who our fabulous Committee are.

The Colour Ball is an exciting event that is themed around colour to brighten up everyone’s lives. Previous themes have included; Green With Envy, Solid Gold, Red Hot, Electric Blue, Ultra Violet and this year’s exciting Silver Lining!

Importantly, in the 11 years since its inception, the Colour Ball has raised an incredible $850,000 for the children, young people and families that Redkite supports.
